Is the ESCO model really zero investment?
Yes. Viet Green Solar covers all equipment, installation, permitting and maintenance costs. You sign a 20–25-year power purchase agreement and pay monthly for the solar kWh you use, at 20–35% below the prevailing EVN tariff.
Does the ESCO price rise when EVN raises tariffs?
The ESCO price equals the EVN tariff applicable to your factory minus the agreed discount. When EVN changes its tariff, the ESCO price follows, but your discount stays fixed for the whole contract.
Who owns the system after the ESCO contract?
The system is handed over to the building owner free of charge. Panels still retain around 80% performance and can generate for many more years, with all that power free for your company.
Can you install on an old metal roof?
Our structural engineers assess the roof during the survey. For factories we reinforce the structure and repaint the metal roof before installation.
Will installation disrupt production?
No. Rooftop work follows a plan agreed with the factory, and the switchboard connection is done in a time slot you choose, usually on a day off.
Do we have to sell power to the EVN grid?
No. Systems are designed for self-consumption, using power on site first, and zero-export devices can be fitted. Any surplus sold follows Decree 58/2025/ND-CP as amended by Decree 243/2026/ND-CP.
Can FDI companies sign contracts in English?
Yes. Contracts, generation reports and CO₂ reports can be bilingual Vietnamese–English for your parent company and ESG audits.
How long until the system starts generating?
A factory of a few hundred kWp takes about 6–10 weeks including permits. Homes usually take 1–3 days to install.
